new home, new routines

So the move is still fresh in my mind - I am reminded by the new-ness living in the new home on a daily basis by the numerous unpacked boxes still present. Funny enough though I don't seem to be missing any essential items for our day to day lives. It does feel a bit like Christmas when we come across something unexpected and it makes me smile.
New routines are developing too, so far so good - my daily commute is less than half of what it used to be and this includes dropping baby off with his lovely 'day-mom' in the morning.
Phoenix seems to be adjusting well to the new school, even though he already encountered some run-ins with some not so nice kids - mainly girls which are from now on referred to as 'tussies'. He likes his new teacher, which for a change seems to be one that actually does give a damn, a refreshing perspective.

clean up and moving = RAKS in the making

For those who don't know this yet - I am moving and packing and sorting and stuff - soooooooooooooooo I am making a give away pile - which means some lucky people will be able to win RAKs packed with random goodies. Let me know what kind of things you like - i.e. what colors/patterns/embellishments and the sorts.

Da ich am umziehen bin - sortieren, packen etc - hat sich ein Haufen Zeugs in meinem Studio in der Verschenken Box angesammelt, das heisst ihr koennt RAKs gewinnen - sagt mir in eueren Kommentaren was fuer material euch am besten gefaellt z.B. farben,motive,embellishments und so weiter. this is my new view where I am moving to - I see myself gazing at the distance and just letting my thoughts run wild... reflecting on the past, present and future... it feels good to find a new sense of belonging.
this is now HOME

We have keys!!!! to our new house ;-) to new beginnings and new memories to be made - to happy days ahead.
